Fox Lake are back and they’ve ditched the brakes. The Denver based heavy fusionists have unleashed their new single ‘Pure Adrenaline’, a rabid collision of metalcore, nu-metal, and hip-hop aggression that burns bright and fast.
Watch/Listen here:
This isn’t just a track, it’s a signal flare for what’s to come. The song arrives as the lead taste of ‘New World Heat’, the band’s upcoming full-length, dropping August 1 via MNRK Heavy.
All gas. No brakes. No apologies.
If the title didn’t already punch you in the throat, the song itself will. ‘Pure Adrenaline’ lives up to its name: all jagged riffs, gut punch grooves, and breakneck vocal trade offs. It’s music for charging headfirst into the fire.
The band call it one of the last songs written for the record, but also one they’ve been chewing on since 2021. That slow-burn tension shows, this thing sounds dangerous in the best way. According to Fox Lake, the mission was clear: make it “faster, more visceral, more concrete.”
Mission f**king accomplished.
New World Heat, a full-bore reinvention
Due out 1 August, ‘New World Heat’ is shaping up to be Fox Lake’s most volatile and self-aware release yet. It’s a record about burning it all down, identity, sound, expectations and rising from the ashes with blood still on your hands.
They’re not alone either. Guest features on the album include:
- Garrett Russell (Silent Planet)
- Benny Scholl (AVOID)
- Ricky Marrero (Mugshot)
The sonic variety? Promised. The chaos? Guaranteed.
