Fallujah Drop New Album ‘Xenotaph’ + Full Lyric Visualiser Out Now

Share

Progressive death metal titans Fallujah have levelled up with their latest release, ‘Xenotaph’, out now via Nuclear Blast Records. Marking album number six, ‘Xenotaph’ is a dense and immersive slab of technical metal. Fusing razor sharp precision with expansive, futuristic soundscapes. This is Fallujah at their most unrelenting and most ambitious.

Fallujah Release New Album ‘Xenotaph’ With Full Lyric Visualiser, the record’s eight tracks plunge listeners into a conceptual journey beyond the grave. Lyrically and sonically, it’s a deep dive into a post death dimension where time and reality twist and unravel. There’s a clear sense of evolution here, Fallujah’s signature atmosphere is still intact. The song writing however, pushes further into progressive and dynamic territory. The album is also their most collaborative yet, with every member’s input shaping its layered, intricate structure.

Vocalist Kyle Schaefer describes ‘Xenotaph’ as “our most technical, dynamic and progressive material to date”, adding that its lyrical themes explore “an otherworldly, post death realm of existence”. It’s a bold step forward, not just musically, but conceptually. A full throttle leap into new dimensions!

Full Album Lyric Visualiser

To mark the album’s arrival, Fallujah have unleashed a full album lyric visualiser. Giving fans a chance to absorb ‘Xenotaph’’s weighty themes while being pummelled by its sonic fury.

The Album And Artwork

Visually, ‘Xenotaph’’s artwork matches the album’s cosmic scope, an intricate and almost fractal design of decaying structures and shifting geometry. Drenched in cold blues and spectral greys! It feels like a portal to the twisted realm Fallujah conjure in sound, that being beautiful, ominous and alien.

Fans of Fallujah’s earlier work will still find the band’s signature blend of brutality and atmosphere, but ‘Xenotaph’ is a record that demands repeat listens. The mix of precision drumming, labyrinthine guitar work and Schaefer’s commanding vocals creates a soundscape that’s as punishing as it is hypnotic.
