Dayseeker Announce New Album ‘Creature In The Black Night’

Alongside the announcement, the band last month dropped the title track with a shadowy, slow-burn video. Frontman Rory Rodriguez describes the song as “the darker part of your conscience overpowering you… the rush you’re addicted to that you can’t ignore.” It’s a statement of intent – heavier riffs, sharper edges, and more unrestrained vocal work than many might expect after their recent output.

Turning Away From Expectations

Rodriguez admits the band could have gone more commercial, but instead found themselves digging deeper into intensity: “We’re riffing more, I’m screaming more. And it feels good. It feels honest.” That honesty is threaded through the record’s thematic pull – while not a traditional concept album, it maintains a cohesive feel through its grim visuals, Grim Reaper iconography, and sense of foreboding.

Earlier single ‘Pale Moonlight’, released in April, has already passed 10 million streams, suggesting fans are more than ready for Dayseeker’s next chapter. Check it out below!

From Clubs To Festivals

Dayseeker’s rise has been fuelled by a loyal outsider following, translating to over 600 million streams across their catalogue and headline tours alongside appearances at Welcome To Rockville, Aftershock, Sonic Temple and more. They’ve also shared stages with Pierce The Veil, Bad Omens, and Motionless In White.

On The Road

The band will be on the road for the rest of 2025, including headline shows and U.S. support slots with Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment.
