D4vd Dropped From Australian Festival Amid Ongoing Police Investigation

U.S. singer D4vd has been removed from the line up of Australia’s Spilt Milk festival as Los Angeles police continue their investigation into human remains found in a Tesla registered in his name.

The body was identified as 15 year old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who went missing last year. TMZ has since reported that the remains and the singer share a distinctive “Shhh…” tattoo on the right index finger, a detail that has fuelled rampant online speculation.

D4vd, best known for his viral single Romantic Homicide, has been cooperating with authorities, according to a representative quoted by NBC Los Angeles. LAPD said investigators searched a Hollywood Hills residence last week and recovered “several items of evidence” now under review. The singer reportedly lived there but did not own the property.

While no charges have been filed, fallout has come quickly. Fans noticed D4vd’s name quietly vanish from Spilt Milk’s website and socials on Monday (September 22). The festival, headlined this year by Kendrick Lamar, was set to bring D4vd to Ballarat, Perth, Canberra and the Gold Coast in December. His planned side shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne remain listed as live at the time of writing.

Ongoing Investigation

Back home, two remaining U.S. tour dates and multiple European stops have been pulled from ticketing sites. A previously sold out Grammy Museum appearance scheduled for Wednesday in Los Angeles has also been scrubbed from the venue’s calendar, representatives for both the festival and the artist have not returned requests for comment.

The LAPD has described the case as an “ongoing investigation,” urging patience while evidence is processed. For now, D4vd’s career is in limbo, dropped from one of Australia’s biggest festivals, with his touring future uncertain as the legal process unfolds.
