UK based alt punk disruptors Calva Louise have announced their new album ‘Edge of the Abyss’. Set for release July 11 via Mascot Records. With it, they’ve unleashed a new single, ‘Impeccable’, a ferocious collision of punk riffs, apocalyptic drums and eerie, industrial tinged electronics that drags listeners straight into their twisted, sci-fi universe.
Calva Louise announce Edge of the Abyss album is coming, fronted by Jess Allanic who also directed the single’s stunning, effects heavy video. They continue to build an ambitious conceptual world across their records and visuals. ‘Impeccable’ acts as a sequel to ‘W.T.F’, deepening a narrative about doubles, shadow selves and survival in a fractured reality. Don’t let the lore distract from what hits hardest though, this track rips. Gritty guitars, thunderous rhythms, and dystopian synths mesh into a hypnotic, high energy assault.
Produced alongside Gareth McGrillen of Pendulum, ‘Edge of the Abyss’ promises to push their genre bending chaos even further. The album weaves themes of identity, mortality, and otherworldly encounters, while staying anchored by Calva Louise’s signature sonic aggression!
