Swedish extreme metal titans Arch Enemy have released a new lyric video for ‘Break the Spell’, a track now confirmed as part of the upcoming Blood Dynasty (Deluxe Edition). The expanded version of their twelfth studio album arrives October 10 via Century Media Records.
‘Break the Spell’ comes with visuals by 12Inch Media and sees the band at their most uncompromising. In a statement, Arch Enemy described the track as “a raw, introspective journey through despair and resilience. It confronts mortality, fear, and emotional collapse, yet refuses to surrender.” It’s a theme that fits comfortably in their catalogue, balancing bleakness with defiance.

The deluxe edition of Blood Dynasty follows the original March 2025 release and adds three bonus cuts, including ‘Moths’ and a previously unreleased song, ‘Lachrymatory’. With ‘Break the Spell’ already unleashed, fans can get ready for the expanded album to offer a mix of new ferocity and deeper textures alongside staples like ‘Illuminate the Path’ and the crushing title track.
